Job summary

Lucky Joint Construction Pte Ltd. is seeking a site supervisor to oversee the installation of data center structured cabling, fiber optic infrastructure and network racks. You will ensure proper installation, grounding, labeling and testing compliant with approved designs and safety requirements.

You will coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams to resolve issues, monitor progress, and maintain QA/QC documentation for commissioning and handover.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2–4 years of engineering or site supervisory experience in data center cabling or low-voltage systems.
• Willingness to work on-site in data center environments and adhere to safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate installation of structured cabling, fiber optic infrastructure, and network racks in data centers.
• Ensure proper rack installation, grounding, bonding, cable management, labeling, testing and commissioning per designs and standards.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, vendors and internal stakeholders for timely issue resolution and project progression.
• Monitor site progress, manpower, materials and schedules to ensure safe, accurate, on-time completion.
• Maintain QA/QC documentation and project records including inspections and test reports.

Job Description

• Supervise and coordinate the installation of structured cabling systems, fiber optic infrastructure, and network racks within data center.
• Ensure proper rack installation, grounding and bonding, cable management, labelling, testing, and commissioning in compliance with approved designs, industry standards, safety requirements, and project quality objectives.
• Perform technical coordination, review engineering drawings and specifications, resolve technical issues, prepare method statements, coordinate installation activities, and support commissioning and handover activities.
• Implement Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) requirements, conduct site inspections, verify installation quality, manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), review test results, and maintain QA/QC documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and timely issue resolution.
• Monitor site progress, manpower, materials, and project schedules to ensure works are completed safely, accurately, and on time.
• Maintain project documentation, including inspection records, test reports, method statements, and as-built drawings.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2-4 years of engineering or site supervisory experience dedicated to data center structured cabling, telecommunications, or low-voltage infrastructure.
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong technical understanding of fiber optic principles, structured cabling architectures, color codes, and hands-on familiarity with testing hardware.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Singapore's Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) guidelines and data center site safety protocols.
• BICSI Installer (Fiber), BICSI Technician, or equivalent vendor certifications (e.g., CommScope, Corning) is an advantage.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, and MS Excel for data analysis and tracking.
