Job summary

Lucky Joint Construction Pte Ltd is seeking a Site Supervisor to lead the installation of data center cabling and fiber infrastructure at Gul Circle. You will oversee rack installations, grounding, labeling, testing, and commissioning in line with designs and safety standards.

The role requires 2–4 years of relevant experience in data center infra, knowledge of fiber optics, AutoCAD, and MS Excel, with QA/QC responsibilities, client coordination, and progress monitoring on site.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of data center cabling or low-voltage infra experience.
• Diploma or Bachelor's in Electrical/Telecommunications/Computer Engineering.
• Strong fiber optics and cabling knowledge with testing skills.
• Familiarity with WSH guidelines for data centers.
• AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, and MS Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Supervise installation of data center cabling and racks.
• Ensure proper grounding, labeling, testing and commissioning.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors and vendors.
• Review drawings, prepare method statements, resolve issues.
• Implement ITP, verify QC, manage NCRs and QA docs.

Job Description

• Supervise and coordinate the installation of structured cabling systems, fiber optic infrastructure, and network racks within data center.
• Ensure proper rack installation, grounding and bonding, cable management, labelling, testing, and commissioning in compliance with approved designs, industry standards, safety requirements, and project quality objectives.
• Perform technical coordination, review engineering drawings and specifications, resolve technical issues, prepare method statements, coordinate installation activities, and support commissioning and handover activities.
• Implement Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) requirements, conduct site inspections, verify installation quality, manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), review test results, and maintain QA/QC documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and timely issue resolution.
• Monitor site progress, manpower, materials, and project schedules to ensure works are completed safely, accurately, and on time.
• Maintain project documentation, including inspection records, test reports, method statements, and as-built drawings.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2-4 years of engineering or site supervisory experience dedicated to data center structured cabling, telecommunications, or low-voltage infrastructure.
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong technical understanding of fiber optic principles, structured cabling architectures, color codes, and hands-on familiarity with testing hardware.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Singapore's Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) guidelines and data center site safety protocols.
• BICSI Installer (Fiber), BICSI Technician, or equivalent vendor certifications (e.g., CommScope, Corning) is an advantage.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, and MS Excel for data analysis and tracking.
