Job summary

Stolz Engineering in Singapore is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to manage end-to-end cooling tower projects across HVAC, commercial, and industrial sites. You will lead projects from award through site installation, testing, commissioning and handover, ensuring safety, quality, schedule and budget targets.

Reporting to management, you will coordinate with clients, consultants and subcontractors, supervise on-site teams, prepare site documentation, and ensure compliance with WSH

About the Role

Stolz Engineering is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to manage and execute end-to-end cooling tower projects across HVAC, commercial, and industrial sites in Singapore. Reporting to management, you will lead projects from award through site installation, testing, commissioning and final handover, ensuring strict alignment with safety, quality, schedule and budget targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Project & Site Execution: Drive end-to-end site execution for SPX Marley cooling tower installations,replacements, retrofits, and M&E integration across diverse client sites.
• Contractor & Vendor Management: Supervise on-site sub-contractors, specialists, and field labor to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, technical specifications, quality standards and timelines.
• Resource & Schedule Coordination: Develop project schedules, manage equipment/parts logistics, monitor site progress, and resolve technical, structural or mechanical site constraints promptly.
• Testing & Handover: Lead site acceptance testing (SAT), functional testing, commissioning, and formal project handover, ensuring full operational readiness.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary technical contact for clients, consultants, main contractors and internal teams; conduct site inspections and attend project meetings.
• Project Administration: Maintain comprehensive project documentation including risk assessments, method statements, progress reports, inspection checklists, variation orders and quotation proposals.
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce workplace safety and health (WSH) standards, risk management protocols, and environmental requirements across all active sites.

Requirements

• Qualifications: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, M&E, or a related discipline.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of contractor-side experience with an established M&E, ACMV or HVAC contractor. The candidate should have practical on-site experience in installation supervision, site coordination and project execution, including coordinating with clients, consultants, main contractors, subcontractors and suppliers. Experience in preparing site documentation, resolving technical and coordination issues and supporting testing and commissioning is essential.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in reading and interpreting mechanical, structural, and electrical engineering drawings and technical specs.
• Capabilities: Strong site coordination, vendor management, problem-solving, and communication skills;capable of managing multiple active project sites independently.
• Licence & Travel: Class 3 driving licence preferred; willingness to travel across local site locations in Singapore and our Johor installation facility.
