Job summary
A leading company is seeking a mechanical engineer to manage project tasks in building system reports and coordinate with subcontractors. Job Responsibilities:
- Periodically manage, review, and update detailed building system reports (tagging database) and their impact lists in collaboration with customers.
- Read, understand, and develop basic isometric drawings, P&ID, and PFD drawings using AutoCAD software.
- Independently work on assigned project tasks with the engineering team, project owners, and subcontractors/suppliers.
- Coordinate with lower-tier subcontractors and suppliers to ensure on-time delivery, cost efficiency, quality, and safety performance.
- Prepare Bill of Quantities (BQ) materials, work permit applications, and documentation/drawing submissions as per project requirements.
- Assist the Project Manager in coordinating, monitoring, and controlling project execution, schedule, cost, and scope baselines.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and all health & safety requirements as per client and company policies.
- Perform additional ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Project Manager.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
- Prior experience in chemical distribution systems, waste chemical systems, or slurry systems for wafer fabrication is advantageous.
- Technical knowledge of ultrapure piping/tubing components, fittings installation, and cleanroom utilities hook-up construction (e.g., Bulk & Specialty Gas, Exhaust, UPW, Drain).
- Proficient in AutoCAD for drawing development.
- Skilled in Microsoft Excel for data entry and updates.
- At least 1 year of experience in microelectronics, semiconductor, or cleanroom factory automation environments is preferred.
- Driven, responsible, and mature team player with a positive learning and work attitude.
- Strong interpersonal, communication (verbal/written), and organizational skills.
