Job summary

OPENSOURCE PTE. LTD. is looking for a Project Engineer in Singapore to manage cabling and network projects. This role includes coordinating with vendors and ensuring project deliverables meet quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Computer Science/IT/Engineering and at least 3 years of relevant project experience. Strong communication skills and knowledge of network equipment are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• CCNA or ITIL certification is advantageous.

Project Engineer (Cabling / Network)

Job Responsibilities

• Be part of the client’s project management team to deliver cabling/network projects involving the deployment of cabling and network devices.
• Project coordination with vendors and users such as requirements gathering, solution design, implementation, testing and support.
• Review project deliverables from vendors to ensure completeness and adherence to the required quality and standard.
• Facilitate routine clearances, site surveys and meetings.

Job Requirements

• Diploma in Computer science / IT / Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of working experience in cabling and network implementation project coordination from design to implementation, testing and support.
• Hands‑on and working knowledge of outdoor cabling, structured cabling and network equipment such as firewall, switches, routers, etc.
• Certification in CCNA, ITIL, etc. will be advantageous.
• Good written and verbal communication skills and experienced in managing stakeholders and vendors.
• Prior working experience in defense organizations or government ministries requiring CAT 1 security clearance
