Job summary

SCIENTEC CONSULTING PTE. LTD. in Singapore is hiring a Project Engineer to support sustainable buildings and infrastructure on government projects. You will participate in planning, tendering, construction supervision and project delivery.

The role requires knowledge of BIM, strong coordination and communication skills, and the ability to manage schedules and budgets. This 1-year contract offers office-based work with normal working hours.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of BIM.
• Experience handling public-sector projects will be advantageous.
• Singaporean only.
• Strong project coordination, communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan overall project schedules and budgets.
• Prepare technical specifications and tender documents.
• Call, evaluate and support the award of consultancy and construction tenders.
• Coordinate engineering design, cost estimation and tender preparation.
• Lead consultants and contractors undertaking design, construction management, contract administration and site supervision.
• Monitor project progress, budgets and expenditures.
• Prepare project updates and work plans for management.
• Resolve technical matters and project-related issues.
• Coordinate with government agencies and other stakeholders.
• Explore and implement innovative technology solutions in projects.

Project Engineer (Sustainable Buildings & Infrastructure)

Salary: Up to $4,150 per month

Contract: 1-year contract, renewable

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, office hours

Govt Project Exposure

Be part of major government building and sustainable infrastructure projects, covering new developments, building renovations, greening, solarisation and facility upgrades. You will gain exposure across the full project lifecycle, from planning and tendering to construction supervision and project completion.
