Job summary

TEMP-TEAM PTE LTD in East Singapore is seeking a Project Engineer to join our engineering team. You will deliver industrial automation and control system solutions for clients across energy and process industries, with exposure to project execution, system design, testing, commissioning, and regional support.

The role involves reviewing specs, preparing schedules, designing and programming PLC-based systems, FAT testing, on-site commissioning, and collaboration with clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering or related discipline.
• At least 1 year of experience in PLC programming, automation, control systems, or project engineering.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Project, and Visio.
• Knowledge of industrial control systems and automation technologies.

Job description

Location: East, Singapore

Salary: $3,500 - $4,000 per month

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5.00pm

We are seeking a motivated Project Engineer to join our engineering team in delivering industrial automation and control system solutions for clients across the energy and process industries. This role offers excellent exposure to project execution, system design, testing, commissioning, and regional project support.

Responsibilities

• Review project specifications, scope of work, and project requirements.
• Prepare project schedules and execution plans.
• Support the successful delivery of projects by monitoring cost, quality, scope, and timelines.
• Participate in design reviews and technical meetings with clients.
• Design and program PLC-based control systems according to project requirements.
• Prepare and execute Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), including customer-witnessed testing.
• Perform system commissioning, troubleshooting, and technical support at customer sites.
• Work closely with internal teams and customers to resolve technical issues and ensure project objectives are achieved.
• Assist in reviewing customer specifications and supporting proposal development when required.
• Travel within the Asia Pacific region to support project implementation and commissioning activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 1 year of experience in PLC programming, automation, control systems, or project engineering.
