Job summary

EA RECRUITMENT PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to lead PLC and industrial automation projects from engineering to commissioning. You will drive projects with strong PLC / automation process ownership and collaborate with customers, contractors and internal teams to deliver on schedule.

We require a degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics/Automation, a minimum of 5 years in PLC/automation projects, and hands-on PLC systems experience.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics / Automation / Control Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in PLC, industrial automation or control system projects.
• Hands-on experience in PLC systems and automation project execution.
• Experience in SCADA, RTU, HMI, control systems or system integration will be an advantage.
• Experience handling projects from engineering/design through testing & commissioning preferred.
• Candidates with experience in Greenfield, Brownfield, infrastructure, utilities or industrial automation projects are encouraged to apply.
• PMP certification and Class 3 driving licence will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage PLC / industrial automation projects from planning through implementation, testing and commissioning
• Coordinate project activities with customers, contractors, suppliers and internal engineering teams
• Provide technical guidance and support to project engineers and team members
• Develop project plans, schedules and work breakdown structures to ensure timely project delivery
• Support engineering design, system integration, configuration and commissioning activities
• Prepare and review PLC / RTU control philosophy and functional requirements
• Review project specifications and ensure technical requirements are properly implemented
• Troubleshoot technical and project issues and recommend appropriate solutions
• Support system modification, upgrading and enhancement works for existing installations
• Monitor project progress, quality and deliverables
• Prepare and review technical documentation, reports, drawings and project submissions

• Basic $5,000 – $6,500 + AWS + Variable Bonus

• Working Location: Hougang / Northeast

• Working Hours: 8:30am – 5:30pm (Mon to Fri)
