Multiway Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an Assistant Electrical Engineer (Control System) to support design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of automated control systems in industrial machinery.
You will work with sensors, PLCs, HMIs and servo motors to improve efficiency, safety and reliability. Nitec in Electrical Technology or equivalent is welcome; overtime may be required. Collaborative tasks across disciplines are common.
We are looking for an Assistant Electrical Engineer to support the design, installation, commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting of automated electrical control systems. You will work with sensors, programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and motion control equipment to improve the efficiency, safety and reliability of industrial machinery.
Design electrical control systems, prepare wiring diagrams and select suitable components for industrial machinery.
Install, test and commission automated electrical systems.
Diagnose and repair electrical faults, analyse input/output (I/O) issues and carry out maintenance and system upgrades.
Configure and tune servo motors, stepper motors and related control systems.
Maintain technical documentation, including electrical schematics and compliance records.
Collaborate with mechanical, software and operations teams to improve system performance and reliability.
Minimum Nitec in Electrical Technology (Power & Control) or an equivalent qualification.
Understanding of electrical circuits, schematics and electrical safety codes.
Familiarity with PLCs, human-machine interfaces (HMIs) and industrial control principles.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, use testing equipment and troubleshoot electrical and automation issues.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Proactive and able to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as in a team.
Willing to work overtime on weekdays and weekends when required.

Salary: $2,500 to $3,500, depending on experience and education level.
Guaranteed 13th-month bonus after one year of service.
