You will assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, and safety standards.

The role emphasizes site coordination, reviewing drawings, and timely reporting, with a focus on delivering projects on schedule and within quality requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building, or related.
• 4 years of experience in building construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and site coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with local authority requirements and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from inception to completion.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and authorities for timely resolution of site issues.
• Monitor project schedules and site progress, ensuring compliance with drawings, specs, and quality standards.
• Supervise daily site operations and resolve construction, design, and coordination issues on-site.
• Review construction drawings, shop drawings, method statements, and submissions for compliance.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports and site records.
• Ensure strict compliance with workplace safety and project safety requirements.
• Participate in site and coordination meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities to ensure project success.
• Take on other project-related duties to support delivery.

Project Engineer (Infrastructure)

• Basic Salary: $3,000 – $6,000 per month + $50 monthly phone allowance + AWS + Bonus

• Monday to Friday: 7:30am – 5:30pm & Alternate Saturday: 7:30am – 5:30pm

• Working Location: Changi Area

We are a Singapore-based construction company specialising in the delivery of infrastructure and building construction projects, working closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities to bring projects from planning through to successful completion. We are looking for a Project Engineer (Infrastructure) to join our project team.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Assist the Project Manager in the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from inception to completion.

• Coordinate closely with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and relevant authorities to ensure smooth project execution and timely resolution of site issues.

• Monitor project schedules and site progress, ensuring works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and contractual requirements.

• Supervise daily site operations and provide technical guidance to resolve construction, design, and coordination issues on-site.

• Review construction drawings, shop drawings, method statements, and technical submissions for compliance and constructability.

• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, site records, inspection reports, and as-built documentation.

• Ensure strict compliance with workplace safety and health regulations, as well as company and project-specific safety requirements.

• Participate in site meetings, coordination meetings, and technical discussions with internal teams, consultants, and external stakeholders.

• Support testing, commissioning, and project handover activities to ensure successful completion.

• Take on other project-related duties as required to support smooth and successful project delivery.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building, or a related discipline.

• 4 years of experience in building construction projects (commercial, institutional, A&A, or mixed-use developments).

• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, site coordination, and project execution.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and construction documents.

• Familiarity with local authority requirements, building regulations, and construction safety standards.
