Job summary

Chee Yam Contractor Pte. Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Project Engineer to join our team for planning, coordination and execution of infrastructure projects in Singapore, including MRT and LRT works across the city-state.

As a Project Engineer, you will assist the Project Manager, review drawings, prepare schedules and reports, and coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and authorities to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in construction or infrastructure projects.
• Experience in MRT, LRT, bridge, or road projects will be advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and project management software.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Possession of a Class 3 driving licence is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in overseeing day-to-day site operations and project execution.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and government agencies (including LTA).
• Monitor site progress to ensure works are completed according to schedule and budget.
