Job Description Summary

Job Description
  • Develop new injection molding process using scientific molding principles.
  • Lead complete IQ/OQ/PQ validation activities of new machines.
  • Troubleshoot molding process to mitigate production defects and improve efficiency during validation process.
  • Participate in design review of new tooling and equipment working with both external and internal team.
  • Participate in project progress review meetings involving both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare complete and accurate records/documentation of project activities per the quality system and validation guideline.
  • Develop and leverage product knowledge to ensure critical Quality Attributes (CQTs) are consistently met.
  • Establish a standardized set of procedures for handover to the production team.
Preferred Education Requirements

Min. high school diploma required, preferred degree in Plastics Engineering or Scientific Molding Certification completion.

Minimum Experience Requirements
  • Preferred at least 5 years’ experience in medical device molding and manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of validation processes (IQ/OQ/PQ).
  • Technical expertise in injection molding related to DFM of molds, processing of thermoplastic, robotics and hot runner system.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and thorough understanding of troubleshooting techniques for the injection molding process, machine, robot and auxiliaries.
