Job summary

CFE ENGINEERS ASIA PTE LTD is seeking a Diploma-qualified engineer to plan, monitor and execute steel fabrication projects in oil, gas, offshore and marine sectors. You will develop construction drawings, methods and risk assessments for site execution, and coordinate with procurement for vendor selection.

The role requires knowledge of welding processes, metal properties and project management, plus strong interpersonal skills to communicate across levels.

Qualifications

• Diploma in engineering in oil & gas, offshore & marine industry.
• Preferable with at least 2 years of steel fabrication experience.
• Knowledge of project management processes.
• Knowledge of 2D AutoCAD; 3D modeling is a plus.
• Knowledge of steel fabrication processes, standards and classification rules.
• Knowledge of engineering calculations.
• Knowledge of steel materials properties (grade, thickness, EN standard).
• Knowledge of welding processes (SMAW, FCAW, SAW, GTAW).
• Good interpersonal skills to communicate with people at different levels.

Responsibilities

• Plan, monitor and execute projects.
• Develop construction drawings, methodologies and risk assessments for site execution.
• Develop MTO and coordinate with procurement for vendor selection.
• Plan and arrange required resources for project execution.
• Coordinate with QA/QC for inspection plans.
• Work with production on fabrication processes and project progress.
• Coordinate with QA/QC and third-party inspectors.
• Ensure daily activities comply with HSE standards.
• Report project progress to stakeholders.
• Manage project site queries.
• Perform other related tasks as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsibilities to plan, monitoring and execute project.
• Develop construction drawing, construction methodology and procedures, engineering calculation and risk assessment for site execution.
• Develop MTO (Material Take Off) list and coordinate with procurement team for the vendor selection.
• Plan and arrange required resources for project execution
• Work closely with QA/QC team for inspection plan
• Work closely with production for fabrication process and project progress.
• Coordinate with QA/QC team and third party inspector
• Ensure daily work activities incorporates with HSE standard
• Report project progress to all stakeholders.
• Manage project site query.
• Performs any other associated tasks and responsibilities assigned from time to time.
