Job summary

OMEGA 365 SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to plan, monitor and execute steel fabrication projects in a offshore & marine context.

You will develop construction drawings and methodologies, perform calculations, and coordinate with procurement and QA/QC teams to ensure site readiness. The role requires a diploma in engineering, at least 2 years in fabrication, knowledge of 2D AutoCAD and MS Project, and strong communication skills; working hours are standard with

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in engineering (oil, gas, offshore & marine industries).
• Preferable with min. 2 years of steel fabrication experience.
• Knowledge of the project management process.
• Knowledge of steel fabrication processes and procedures, and applicable standards.
• Knowledge of welding processes (SMAW, FCAW, SAW, GTAW).
• Knowledge of engineering calculations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, monitor and execute projects.
• Develop construction drawings, methodologies and procedures.
• Perform calculations and risk assessments for site execution.
• Develop MTO (Material Take Off) lists and coordinate with procurement for vendor selection.
• Plan and arrange required resources for project execution.
• Work with QA/QC for inspection plans and third-party inspectors.
• Coordinate with production for fabrication progress and site progress.
• Ensure activities comply with HSE standards.
• Report project progress to stakeholders.
• Handle site queries and additional tasks as assigned.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Qualification & Requirements:

• Min. Diploma in engineering on oil gas, offshore & marine industry.
• Preferable with min. 2 years of steel fabrication experience
• Knowledges in project management process
• Knowledges in 2D AutoCAD (3D modeling will be plus point), MS Office and MS Project.
• Knowledges in steel fabrication process and procedures, in fabrication standard and
• classification rules.
• Knowledges in engineering calculation.
• Knowledges in steel materials properties (grade, thickness, EN Standard)
• Knowledges in welding processes (SMAW, FCAW, SAW and GTAW)
• Good interpersonal skills to communicate to people of different levels

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsibilities to plan, monitoring and execute project.
• Develop construction drawing, construction methodology and procedures, engineering
• calculation and risk assessment for site execution.
• Develop MTO (Material Take Off) list and coordinate with procurement team for the

• Work closely with QA/QC team for inspection plan
• Work closely with production for fabrication process and project progress.

• Ensure daily work activities incorporates with HSE standard
• Report project progress to all stakeholders.
• Manage project site query.
• Performs any other associated tasks and responsibilities assigned from time to time.

• Minimum Years of Experience: 2
• Employment Type: Full Time
• Minimum Qualification Level: Diploma qualifications (e.g. NIE, SIM, LaSalle-SIA, NAFA)
• Field of Study: Mechanical

Salary: $3,500- $4,500/ month

Transport: Company transportation provided, with pick-up and drop-off at Jurong Point (8 am)

Working Hours: 8:30 am - 5:30 pm

Working Days: 5 day work week
