Job summary

You will deliver energy dashboards, fault diagnostics, and performance improvements while ensuring system reliability and compliance with specifications.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot optimization and control products across regional projects.
• Execute project implementation including energy-saving features and analytics.
• Develop control strategies tailored to client requirements to improve efficiency.
• Conduct testing and commissioning to verify operation and specs.
• Propose retrofit solutions to improve performance and energy efficiency.
• Provide technical advisory and support to internal teams and clients.
• Engage in discussions with clients, vendors, and stakeholders on project goals.
• Prepare project documentation to support milestones.
• Maintain systems remotely or onsite to meet contractual obligations.
• Diagnose issues and implement corrective actions for optimal performance.
• Manage subcontractors involved in panel design and onsite testing.
• Follow company processes to ensure compliance with standards.

Job Summary

The Project Engineer leads installation, implementation, and support of control and optimization solutions to deliver energy-efficient systems, ensuring reliable operations and providing technical expertise to teams and clients.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot optimization and control products and services across regional projects to ensure system functionality and performance
• Execute project implementation including energy-saving features, Fault Detection and Diagnostics (FDD), data analytics, alarm analytics, and energy dashboards to optimize energy use
• Develop and document control strategies tailored to project and client requirements to enhance system efficiency
• Conduct system auto-testing, testing, and commissioning (T&C) to verify proper operation and compliance with specifications
• Propose retrofit solutions to improve performance and energy efficiency of existing customer equipment
• Provide technical advisory and support to internal engineers and project teams to resolve issues and improve solutions
• Participate in technical discussions with clients, vendors, and stakeholders to align project goals and technical requirements
• Prepare comprehensive project documentation including control strategy write-ups, T&C reports, user manuals, and progress claims to support project milestones
• Perform maintenance of existing systems remotely or onsite to ensure contractual obligations and system reliability are met
• Diagnose system issues and implement corrective actions to maintain optimal performance
• Manage subcontractors involved in panel design and onsite testing & commissioning to ensure quality, safety, and project specifications are met
• Follow company systems, processes, and reporting structures to ensure compliance with internal standards and client requirements

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience in building automation systems (BAS), building management systems (BMS), HVAC controls, or energy management systems
• Familiarity with control systems, data analytics platforms, and energy optimization solutions
• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related Engineering discipline
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
