Job summary

BHCC CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is seeking a Site Engineer to plan, coordinate and supervise overall site works with subcontractors and trades, ensuring safe execution and conformance to drawings and specifications.

The ideal candidate has a civil engineering degree and at least five years local construction experience, good interpersonal skills, and the ability to resolve issues on site and liaise with clients and consultants.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years local experience in construction.
• Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
• Good interpersonal skills and team player.

Responsibilities

• Plan, co-ordinates and implements overall site works with sub-con and other related trades to carry out work safely.
• Identify and resolve all problems that arise on site.
• Assist Project Manager to organize and deploy resource/material for project.
• Attend site matters & complains related to project sites.
• Prepare and submit shop drawings, materials and necessary documents to consultant for approval.
• Co-ordinate with sub-con and solve technical problems.
• Monitor progress and coordinate with Clients, Consultants, Subcontractors to ensure timely delivery.
• Supervise and ensure works are in accordance to contract drawings and specifications.
• Review engineering designs, drawings, and specifications, and ensure compliance with codes and standards.
• Ensure site safety and proper execution of site work procedures on site.
