Job summary

Catig Construction in Singapore invites a Site Engineer to plan, coordinate and supervise site works, ensuring compliance with drawings and specs. You will prepare shop drawings for consultant approval and assist the Project Manager with resource deployment to the project.

You will coordinate with subcontractors and clients, monitor progress, maintain safety procedures on site, and ensure timely and quality completion in line with contract drawings and master programs.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or construction-related field is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and implement site works with subcontractors to ensure safe execution.
• Prepare and submit shop drawings and documents for consultant approval.
• Assist Project Manager in organizing resources and materials for the project.
• Attend site matters and address complaints related to project sites.
• Coordinate with subcontractors to solve technical problems.
• Supervise subcontractors to ensure timely and quality completion per drawings and specs.
• Prepare detailed project schedules aligned with client master programs.
• Work with Procurement to ensure timely delivery of goods and proper site reception.
• Ensure site safety and proper execution of site work procedures.

Education

Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction related field

• To monitor the progress as well as co-ordination with Clients, Consultants and subcontractors.

• To supervise and ensure works are in accordance to the contract drawings and specifications.

• Prepare detailed project schedules aligned with client master programs.

• Work closely with the Procurement team to ensure timely delivery and receipt of goods

• Ensure site safety and proper execution of site work procedure on site
