Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Building, Construction Management, or related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in Singapore’s construction industry, preferably with landed residential projects.
• Foundational understanding of translating design to site execution; basic drawing adjustments in AutoCAD or Revit.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations for landed residential projects, including New Builds and A&A works.
• Review drawings to ensure site feasibility and coordinate with design team to resolve discrepancies.
• Manage sub-contractors and site workers to keep projects on schedule and quality.
• Serve as primary contact for homeowners, provide progress updates and manage expectations.
• Assist in sourcing materials and verify sub-contractor progress claims.
• Identify site issues early and propose practical solutions, especially in A&A contexts.

Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated and adaptable Project Engineer to join our residential team. This role is ideal for a junior engineer who enjoys the "Design & Build" process—seeing a project move from architectural drawings to a finished dream home. You will be a key bridge between the design office, our sub-contractors, and the homeowners, ensuring that site execution aligns with design intent and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations for landed residential projects, including New Builds and A&A (Additions & Alterations) works.
• Review architectural and structural drawings to ensure site feasibility; coordinate with the design team to resolve any onsite discrepancies.
• Manage sub-contractors and site workers to ensure progress remains on schedule and workmanship meets quality standards.
• Act as a primary point of contact for homeowners. Provide regular progress updates, manage expectations regarding timelines, and handle site-related queries with professionalism.
• Assist in the sourcing of materials and the verification of sub-contractor progress claims.
• Identify potential site issues early (especially in A&A contexts where existing structures are involved) and propose practical solutions.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Building, Construction Management, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in Singapore’s construction industry, preferably with exposure to landed residential projects.
• A foundational understanding of how design translates to site execution.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills. You must be comfortable explaining technical details to non-technical homeowners and negotiating with sub-contractors.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Possession of a valid Class 3 driving license and/or access to personal transport is highly advantageous for traveling between residential sites.
• Basic proficiency in AutoCAD or Revit for minor drawing adjustments.
