Job summary

RICO ENGINEERING WORKS PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a site/project coordinator to assist in designing and installing fire protection systems for data centres and commercial projects. You will collaborate with drafters, interpret codes, and coordinate subcontractors on site to ensure quality outcomes.

The role includes attending meetings with main contractors, assisting the Project Manager with variation claims and method statements, and conducting on-site surveys to prepare customer costings

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with drafters to design fire protection systems for data centres and commercial projects.
• Study and apply codes of practice for fire protection installation.
• Coordinate sub-contractor site installation activities.
• Attend meetings with main contractors.
• Support the Project Manager in preparing variation claims.
• Assist the Project Manager with method statements and project schedules submission.
• Conduct on-site surveys to provide cost estimates for customers.
• Perform quality checks to ensure sub-contractor installations meet compliance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, Other assignments, projects and duties may be required:

1. Work with drafters on designing fire protection systems for Data Centres/commercial projects
2. Read up and understand code of practices for fire protection installation
3. Coordination of sub contractor's site installation
4. Attend meetings with main contractors
5. Assist your Project Manager in preparing variation claims
6. Assist your Project Manager in the submission of method statements/project schedules
7. On site survey to provide a costing for customers
8. Quality checks and analysis. Specifically to check on the compliance of installations done by your sub-contractors
