Job summary

MEMIONTEC PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a Project Engineer to support EPC projects from design through commissioning and handover, working with Project Manager, engineering disciplines, contractors and clients to deliver safely, on schedule and within budget.

You will review drawings and specifications, prepare schedules, coordinate with consultants and suppliers, and help manage risks and documentation to ensure quality and compliance with WSH and company standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or related engineering.
• Minimum 3 years in EPC, construction, water treatment, or industrial projects.
• Fresh graduates with strong academics and keen interest encouraged.
• Knowledge of water/wastewater or ultrapure water treatment is a plus.
• Ability to read/interpret drawings, P&IDs and specs.

Responsibilities

• Assist PM in planning and executing EPC projects from start to finish.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning.
• Review drawings, specs and construction documents for compliance.
• Prepare and monitor project schedules and progress reports.

Position Summary

The Project Engineer supports the planning, coordination and execution of EPC projects from design through commissioning and handover. Therole works closely with the Project Manager, engineering disciplines, contractors and clients to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget and in accordance with quality and contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating and executing EPC projects from commencement to completion.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning activities to ensure project milestones are achieved.
• Review engineering drawings, technical specifications and construction documents for compliance with project requirements.
• Prepare and monitor project schedules, work plans and progress reports.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors and suppliers on technical and site matters.
• Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, quality standards, safety regulations and project specifications.
• Attend site meetings, prepare meeting minutes and follow up on action items.
• Prepare and review technical submissions, material approvals, method statements and inspection requests.
• Support project, site execution, testing, commissioning, performance testing and project handover activities.
• Monitor project progress and identify potential risks, delays and technical issues, proposing practical solutions where appropriate.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, reports and records.
• Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety & Health (WSH), environmental and company management system requirements.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical Engineering or a related Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in EPC, construction, water treatment, process plant or industrial projects.
• Fresh graduates with strong academic results and a keen interest in project engineering are encouraged to apply.
• Basic knowledge of water, wastewater or ultrapure water treatment systems will be an advantage.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs and technical specifications.
• Good organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of Microsoft Project, AutoCAD or Primavera P6 will be an advantage.
• Self-motivated, willing to learn and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
