Job summary

InternSG in Singapore is seeking a Project Engineer to lead successful project delivery. You will coordinate site teams and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget, complying with project specifications.

You will monitor progress, manage budgets, identify value engineering opportunities, coordinate testing and commissioning, and hand over systems to clients. You will mentor junior engineers and uphold safety and quality standards across all sites.

Qualifications

• Coordinate and supervise site teams and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with project specifications.
• Monitor project progress and proactively resolve technical and site-related challenges.
• Manage project budgets, monitor costs, prepare monthly progress claims, and support financial forecasting.
• Identify opportunities for value engineering and cost optimisation while maintaining quality and project objectives.
• Coordinate Testing & Commissioning activities to ensure systems perform as designed.
• Provide technical guidance on equipment selection, installation methodologies, and engineering solutions.
• Conduct operational training and system handovers for clients upon project completion.
• Represent the company confidently during technical discussions, progress meetings, and coordination meetings with clients, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.
• Foster strong working relationships that contribute to successful project outcomes.
• Work closely with the Safety team to implement and maintain Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) standards across project sites.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality requirements, and applicable safety procedures.
• Mentor junior engineers and site personnel by sharing technical knowledge and best practices.
