Job summary

Wetech Engineering in Singapore is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to assist the Project Manager with day-to-day site management, technical matters and authority submissions. You will prepare method statements, monthly progress claims and reports, coordinate with sub-contractors and consultants, and ensure works align with the Project Quality & Safety Plan and contract drawings.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of local civil engineering experience, is proficient in MS Office, communicates

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering as recognised by PE Board/BCA
• Minimum 4 years work experience on local civil engineering projects
• Proficient in MS Office
• Strong and clear communication skills with proven ability to engage others
• Organised, meticulous with positive work attitude
• Able to work independently and as a team player

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager and deputy on day-to-day management and site technical/engineering matters
• Prepare method statements, monthly progress claims measurement and reports
• Coordinate with sub-contractors and consultants
• Ensure works comply with the Project Quality & Safety Plan, contract requirements, drawings and specifications
• Supervise and monitor projects per company procedures, quality standards & contractual specs
• Interpret engineering documents and drawings for field personnel
• Ensure environmental, safety and health practices at all times
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or Head of Department

• Ensure that the works are carried out in accordance with the Project Quality & Safety Plan, contract requirements, including drawings and specifications
• Supervise and monitor projects are carried out in accordance to company’s operating procedures, quality standards & contractual specifications.
• Interpret engineering documents and drawings for field personnel
• Ensuring environmental, safety and health practices are carried out at all times.
• Perform other duties / tasks as assigned by immediate superior or Head of department.

Requirements
