Job summary

GMP Technologies is seeking a Project Engineer (PE Board/ Civil Engineering) to support project management, site coordination and documentation on civil construction projects in Singapore. You will assist the Project Manager with planning, scheduling, risk control and reporting, while ensuring works comply with contract specs and ESH requirements.

Ideal candidates hold a Civil Engineering degree with 3–5 years of construction experience, and are proficient in AutoCAD, Primavera P6 and Microsoft

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of construction/infrastructure experience.
• Proactive, resourceful and able to work in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Manager with project planning, site management and risk control.
• Coordinate construction works to align with master/detailed work programs.
• Prepare schedules, method statements, risk assessments and monthly reports.
• Supervise construction works to meet contract specs and ESH standards.
• Liaise with clients, authorities, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Attend meetings and maintain project documentation and records.
• Maintain document control and review design drawings and specs.

About the job Project Engineer (PE Board/ Civil Engineering)

Responsibilities

• Report and assist Project Manager (PM) on project functions included but not limited to project management, site management, risk control management etc. to meet the project(s) goals.


• Assist Project Manager in project planning, implementation and to coordinate all construction works on the project site are in accordance to the master and detailed work program.


• Prepare, plan and submit project related documents, such as schedules, method statement, design plan, risk assessment, monthly report, etc.


• To supervise the execution of the construction works and ensure that the works are carried out in accordance with contract specification/bills of quantities, construction drawings, companys quality standards, Environmental, Safety & Health (ESH) practices and all other contract document.


• To coordinate and liaise with Clients representatives, relevant Authorities, Consultant, Subcontractors, Suppliers, etc. on all project aspects and need be, to provide all technical and non-technical resolutions followed by documentation.


• Liaise with client or consultant for site inspections, submission of necessary technical reports and ensure necessary records are maintained at site. Assist Contract department (QS) in verifying progress payments and claims from Contractors.


• Attend regular meetings with Clients Representative, Consultants and/or Contractors and ensure the progress is on schedule.


• Establish proper and effective document control system, maintain & conduct reviews of detail design drawings, project documents and specifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by Professional Engineer Board


• At least 3 to 5 years of working experience in the Construction Industry and Infrastructure.


• Resourceful, independent and able to work in a fast-paced environment.


• Additional skills in AutoCAD, Primavera (P6) and Microsoft Project is advantageous
