Job summary

PARK AND PARTNERS CONSULTANCY PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Project Director to lead geotechnical and foundation works across construction projects in Singapore.

Reporting to COO, you will assume overall responsibility for delivery of bored piling, diaphragm wall, DSM, JGP and other ground improvement activities. This senior role requires deep technical knowledge, proven project operations experience, and strong leadership to manage resources, tendering, budgeting and cross-functional

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• At least 10–15 years of construction experience, with Bored Piling and Geotechnical works.
• Strong technical knowledge in Foundation/Ground Improvement works.
• Experience with Bored Piling; exposure to Diaphragm Wall, DSM, JGP and/or Sheet Piling.
• Proven experience managing construction operations, manpower, machinery and resources.
• Experience in costing and tendering of Foundation/Ground Improvement works.
• Strong leadership, decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.
• Good understanding of project financial management, risk management and change control.
• Knowledge of contractual, regulatory and construction requirements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Able to collaborate across project, operations and corporate teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee Geotechnical and Foundation works including Bored Piling, Diaphragm Wall, DSM, JGP and Sheet Piling.
• Ensure project operations meet requirements, timelines and management direction.
• Plan manpower, machinery, equipment, materials, inventory and procurement for projects.
• Monitor existing processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop strategies to enhance productivity, efficiency and resource utilisation.
• Oversee and resolve operational and technical issues affecting delivery.
• Perform costing and tendering for Foundation and Ground Improvement works.
• Monitor project risks, costs and change-control matters.
• Coordinate manpower planning, allocation and deployment across sites.
• Ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory and company requirements.

The Role

We are seeking an experiencedProject Directorto lead and oversee geotechnical and foundation works across construction projects.

Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, the successful candidate will take overall responsibility for the effective delivery ofBored Piling, Diaphragm Wall, Deep Soil Mixing (DSM), Jet Grouting (JGP), Sheet Piling and other Foundation/Ground Improvement works.

This is a senior leadership position requiring strong technical knowledge of geotechnical works, together with proven capabilities in project operations, resource planning, costing, tendering and team management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and overseeGeotechnical and Foundation works, including Bored Piling, Diaphragm Wall, DSM, JGP, Sheet Piling and related ground improvement activities.

• Ensure project operations are carried out efficiently and in accordance with project requirements, timelines and management direction.

• Plan and determine appropriatemanpower, machinery, equipment, materials, inventory and procurement requirementsfor projects.

• Monitor existing work processes and identify areas for operational improvement.

• Develop and implement strategies to enhanceproductivity, efficiency and utilisation of resources.

• Oversee and resolve operational and technical issues affecting project delivery.

• Performcosting and tendering for Foundation and Ground Improvement works.

• Monitor project risks, costs and change-control matters.

• Work closely with HR and project teams onmanpower planning, allocation and deploymentacross various sites.

• Ensure compliance with relevantcontractual, regulatory and company requirements.

• Provide leadership and direction to project teams and foster effective collaboration across functions.

Requirements

• Degree inCivil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Construction Managementor a relevant construction-related discipline.

• At least10–15 years of relevant construction experience, including significant experience inBored Piling and Geotechnical Engineering works.

• Strong technical knowledge and practical experience inFoundation / Ground Improvement works.

• Experience withBored Piling is highly preferred, together with exposure to Diaphragm Wall, DSM, JGP and/or Sheet Piling.

• Proven experience managing construction operations, manpower, machinery and project resources.

• Experience incosting and tendering of Foundation / Ground Improvement works.

• Strong leadership, decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.

• Good understanding ofproject financial management, risk management and change control.

• Strong knowledge of contractual, regulatory and construction requirements.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

• Able to work collaboratively across project, operations and corporate teams.
