Job summary

LH GRANDE CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is seeking a Project Director to lead business development, client relations and end-to-end project delivery for interior fit-out and renovation projects in Singapore.

You will oversee multiple projects, manage budgets and schedules, and coordinate with designers, clients and authorities to ensure quality, safety and profitability across commercial, office and hospitality sectors.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities and secure interior fit-out and renovation projects.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, developers, consultants, architects and main contractors.
• Generate sales leads, attend client meetings and negotiate project contracts.
• Prepare and present project proposals, quotations and tender submissions.
• Achieve company sales targets and contribute to business revenue growth.
• Identify potential projects in commercial, office, retail, hospitality and residential sectors.
• Oversee multiple interior fit-out projects from tender stage to completion and handover.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and according to quality standards.
• Manage project schedules, manpower, subcontractors, suppliers and resources.
• Coordinate with clients, designers, consultants and relevant authorities.
• Resolve technical issues, site challenges and project delays.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and review project budgets, cost estimates and tender pricing.
• Monitor project costs, cash flow and profitability.
• Negotiate competitive pricing with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Manage variation orders, progress claims and final accounts.
• Ensure projects achieve targeted profit margins.
• Minimise unnecessary expenses and improve operational efficiency.
• Lead and manage project managers, quantity surveyors, site supervisors and operations teams.
• Establish project management procedures and performance standards.
• Allocate resources effectively across multiple projects.
• Monitor team performance and provide guidance to improve productivity.
• Recruit and develop project management personnel when required.
• Act as the key contact for major clients and strategic projects.
• Maintain customer satisfaction and develop long-term business relationships.
• Lead contract negotiations and manage contractual risks.
• Handle client complaints, project disputes and commercial negotiations.
• Identify opportunities for repeat business and referrals.
• Develop business strategies to expand the company's interior fit-out portfolio.
