Job summary

SUNCO ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. seeks a Civil/Mechanical Engineering graduate or diploma holder to support site activities in planning mechanical layouts, preparing permits and shop drawings, and coordinating resources on construction sites in Singapore. Fresh graduates are welcome and familiarity with M&E drawings is advantageous.

You will liaise with clients and subcontractors, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with safety and project standards while contributing to daily site operations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in M&E or mechanical construction preferred.
• Fresh graduates welcome with relevant diploma/degree credentials.
• Basic understanding of mechanical systems (ACMV, Fire Protection, Plumbing & Sanitary, or Piping) and ability to read M&E/Architectural drawings.
• Proactive, coordinate-minded with problem-solving skills.
• Independent and self-directed on-site, with strong teamwork spirit.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; basic knowledge of AutoCAD is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Help arrange required site tools, machinery, materials, and manpower.
• Communicate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors on daily site matters.
• Monitor site progress to ensure works follow project schedules and standards.
• Ensure all site activities strictly follow WSH safety and environmental rules.
• Maintain daily site logs, material submission records, and as-built drawing updates.
• Coordinate site walkthroughs, testing & commissioning, and defect rectifications.
• Assist Project Leads in coordinating manpower, sub-trades, and daily site tasks.
• Perform other supporting tasks as assigned by the Project Leads.
