Job summary

Weichai Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a Commercial Executive to support commercial management of projects from bidding to execution in Singapore. You will coordinate contract, procurement, invoicing, insurance, and cost control while working with project, sales, procurement and cross-functional teams to drive commercial risk management and profitability.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in a commercial, procurement, project administration, or similar role.
• Experience in the construction, engineering, M&E, data centre, or related industry will be an advantage.
• Good organisational and administrative skills with strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project teams to address commercial issues, mitigate risks, and optimize project outcomes.
• Support in resolving commercial disputes and claims in coordination with legal and project management teams.
• Stay updated on industry best practices, regulations, and compliance requirements related to project commercial management.
• Be in charge of procurement, invoicing & contract insurance matters for projects (including delivery order etc.).
• Liaise with APAC counterparts or subsidiaries on taxation matters.
• Assist in the development and implementation of commercial strategies for project bidding and execution.
• Support project managers in reviewing and conducting contractual negotiation with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Maintain accurate records of project contracts, pricing agreements, and commercial documents.
• Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely sourcing of materials and services in compliance with project requirements.
• Monitor project budgets, expenditures, and cash flows to identify variances and implement cost control measures.
• Assist in preparing financial reports, forecasts, reporting and project profitability analysis.
• Other sales support work.
