• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Quantity Surveying / Construction Management / Civil Engineering).
• 10+ years of relevant experience in contract negotiation, administration or management.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, analytical mindset, problem solving abilities, and motivation in a high growth environment.
• High level of integrity, dependability with urgency and result orientation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee commercial and contractual aspects of the main contract and subcontracts; manage related commercial risk with mitigation actions.
• Review terms of service with external providers (vendors and subcontractors) and project deliverables.
• Provide contractual advisory from the commercial perspective through all project stages and support Quantity Surveyor team with monitoring, reporting and coordination.
• Continuously improve processes, systems, and policies to support contract management and administration on the project.
• Advise on all contractual correspondence, identify and manage contractual risk; handle claims, disputes, settlements and resolution.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, through notices such as extension-of-time and change orders; understand various contracts and forms.
• Demonstrate leadership to manage internal and external stakeholders; think strategically and critically with good judgement.
• Be prepared to work at corporate offices and/or project sites as required.
