Job summary

NCS, a leading AI Tech Services company with a strong APAC footprint, is seeking a Budget Analyst to collaborate with PMs, vendors and stakeholders. You will develop detailed project budget reports, align planning with scope and timeline, and maintain timely expenditure data across systems.

The role emphasizes data analytics, variance analysis, and visualization to support management reviews and continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

Proficient in Microsoft Excel with advanced formulas (VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, Pivot).
Proficient in Microsoft SharePoint and PowerPoint for management materials.
Knowledge of Power BI/Tableau/Qlik Sense for dashboards.
Taking and implementing initiative to improve budget management/workflow.
Open to train and guide others.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Project Managers, Operation Managers, Vendors and stakeholders to develop detailed budget reports.
Align budget planning with project scope, timeline and deliverables.
Update systems/spreadsheets daily/weekly/monthly to capture budget and expenditure.
Analyze actual expenses vs budgets and generate management reports.
Identify variance reasons quarterly and provide insights on budget utilization.
Produce periodic financial reports and visualize data to reveal trends and insights.
Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely goods receipt and payment tracking.
Gather procurement documents and file into designated e-filing system.
Handle inquiries as the budget information contact for project teams.
Support management by organizing budget review meetings and updating plans.
