Job summary

Rider Levett Bucknall Consultancy Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage BOQ take-offs, VO assessments, and pricing for contract variations.

You will process monthly progress and final claims in line with SOPs and maintain project documentation diligently. The role requires a minimum of 10 years in consultancy QS, PSPC-recognised degree, and professional qualifications. Strong communication and negotiation skills, plus proficiency with MS Excel, Word and cost

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years hands-on QS experience, preferably in consultancy.
• Degree in QS with PSPC recognition; professional qualifications advantageous.
• Proficient in cost estimation, measurement for VO and claims.

Responsibilities

• To take off and prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
• To assess and identify Variation Order (VO) work for all subcontract packages.

• To maintain relevant documentation in orderly and proper manner.

Job description

• A minimum of 10 years hands-on experience (preferably with consultancy practice)
• PSPC-Recognised Degree for Quantity Surveying (QS) Discipline
• Applicant with Professional Qualification with SISV, AIQS, RICS will be an advantage
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, Cost & Measurement software
• Analytical, resourceful, independent, responsible and able to work in a challenging and fast paced environment
• Good interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
• Good team player yet able to work independent with minimum supervision and provide guidance to junior staff
• Prior experience in a consultancy firm will be an added advantage
• Open to candidates with an M&E engineering consultancy background
