Job summary

Calvary is seeking a Programme Manager (Youth) in Singapore to lead and grow youth initiatives, including Gear-Up programmes in secondary schools. The role focuses on mentoring, developing life-skills, and coordinating volunteers to deliver value-added youth services.

You will work with diverse stakeholders to plan, implement and evaluate programmes, ensuring alignment with Calvary's mission and youth outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree holder with relevant social science background; Masters is a plus.
• Experience leading teams in conceptualising and delivering youth programmes.
• Ability to translate strategic goals into operational plans for programme delivery.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data documentation.

Responsibilities

• Promote and engage volunteers for programme delivery.
• Recruit, manage and engage volunteers for programme.
• Plan and implement youth programmes, especially Gear-Up in schools.
• Develop life-skills and mentoring initiatives for youth.

Programme Manager (Youth) Responsibilities

General

• Understand, imbibe & promote C3 mission, vision and values


• Plan and carry out initiatives to achieve programme desired outcomes


• Evaluate, review & refine initiatives to improve programme effectiveness


• Recruit, manage and engage volunteers for programme


• Promote, engage and secure partners and clients for programme

Specific:

1. to conceptualise, plan and customise youth programmes, especially GEAR-UP. Gear-Up programmes are run in Secondary schools to provide customised support and after-school engagement, and strengthen students' social-emotional competencies and social skills


2. to develop life-skills and mentoring programmes


3. to be involved in programme development and evaluation


4. to supervise a team of youth workers


5. to work with volunteers in providing value added services to youth


6. to work with other stakeholders to support programmes and services to youth

Candidate Requirements
