Job summary

TALENT TRADER GROUP PTE. LTD. is seeking a Program/Project Engineer to lead high-precision engineering programs from prototype to final delivery in Singapore.

You will manage plans, schedules, and budgets while coordinating with NPI, manufacturing, QA, suppliers, and internal teams. The role requires a mechanical engineering degree and 3–5 years in precision manufacturing, with strong knowledge of CNC machining, metrology, CAD/CAM tools, and MS Project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Precision Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in program/project engineering within precision manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of CNC machining, metrology, and CAD/CAM tools.
• Experience in client-facing technical coordination or account management.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality standards is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage project plans, schedules, and budgets for high-precision engineering programs from prototype development through final delivery.
• Coordinate with NPI, manufacturing, QA, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve issues and meet targets.
• Provide technical oversight in precision manufacturing processes and conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments.
• Coordinate testing, validation, and inspection to ensure quality and tolerance compliance.
• Act as the primary technical contact for key accounts, suppliers, and internal stakeholders with progress updates and documentation.
• Support time-sensitive customer communications outside regular hours when required.

Responsibilities

• Manage project plans, schedules, and budgets for high-precision engineering programs from prototype development through final delivery.
• Coordinate with NPI, manufacturing, QA, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve technical or logistical issues and ensure project targets are met.
• Provide technical oversight in precision manufacturing processes including CNC machining, micro-fabrication, metrology, and design for manufacturability; oversee prototype development and conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments.
• Coordinate testing, validation, and inspection activities to ensure products meet strict quality, tolerance, and customer requirements.
• Act as the primary technical contact for key accounts, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, providing progress updates, technical documentation, risk assessments, and client presentations.
• Support time-sensitive customer communications, including urgent calls and emails outside regular working hours when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Precision Engineering, or a related field, with 3–5 years of experience in program/project engineering within precision manufacturing.
• Strong technical knowledge of precision manufacturing processes, including CNC machining, micro-fabrication, metrology, and CAD/CAM software such as SolidWorks, CATIA, or AutoCAD.
• Strong project management and problem-solving skills, with experience using tools such as MS Project.
• Professional presentation and communication skills, with experience in client-facing technical coordination or account management.
• Experience managing customer relationships within the Semiconductor, Aerospace, Medical Device, or Life Sciences industries.
• Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 9001 or AS9100 is advantageous.
• Knowledge of advanced manufacturing techniques such as additive manufacturing and laser machining is a plus.
