Job summary

TAKENAKA SINGAPORE PTE LTD is seeking a senior Structural Engineer to prepare, review and coordinate structural design calculations, drawings and specifications for projects in Singapore. You will ensure compliance with BCA, Eurocodes, and Singapore Standards, and support planning, design development and construction phases.

Role requires PE registration with PEB Singapore for at least 5 years and at least 10 years of C&S experience in construction.

Qualifications

• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) with Professional Engineers Board Singapore for at least 5 years.
• Minimum 10 years working experience handling C&S scopes in construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review structural design calculations, drawings, and specifications.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant codes and regulations, including BCA, Eurocodes, and Singapore Standards.
• Carry out project execution plans and review site planning, mobilization and feasibility study.
• Provide structural engineering input during planning, design development, and construction stages.
• Coordinate with architects, M&E consultants, geotechnical engineers, and contractors to ensure design integration.
• Conduct site inspections to verify structural works per approved drawings and specs.
• Provide technical guidance and resolve structural issues during construction to ensure quality and compliance.
