Job summary

Kanry Search Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a Production Technician (Semiconductor) to support manufacturing operations through hands-on assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and engineering support. You will work with engineers to maintain production performance and assist NPI activities.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, inspecting equipment, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet production targets while following safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of relevant semiconductor manufacturing experience.
• Hands-on experience in assembly, testing, troubleshooting, or production support.
• Exposure to NPI, engineering builds, or process improvement is a plus.

• Inspect equipment, tooling, and processes to maintain quality and smooth production flow.
• Assist with NPI trials, engineering builds, and product transfer activities.
• Collect and review production data to identify issues and support process improvements.
• Work with Manufacturing Engineers to implement corrective actions and changes.
• Prepare and update work instructions, process records, checklists, and production reports.
• Participate in Lean Manufacturing and 5S activities.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams to meet targets.

Basic Salary: SGD 2,000-2,700 per month
Working Days: Monday-Friday

• Day shift: 8:00am-5:30pm
• Night shift: 11:15pm-8:00am

About the Role

Support semiconductor manufacturing operations through hands-on assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and engineering support. Work closely with engineers to maintain production performance and support new product introduction (NPI) activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily manufacturing operations and troubleshoot production, equipment, and process issues.
• Inspect equipment, tooling, and processes to maintain consistent quality and smooth production flow.
• Assist with NPI trials, engineering builds, and product transfer activities.
• Collect and review production data to identify issues and support process improvements.
• Work with Manufacturing Engineers to implement corrective actions and engineering changes.
• Prepare and update work instructions, process records, checklists, and production reports.
• Participate in continuous improvement, Lean Manufacturing, and 5S activities.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams to meet production targets.
• Follow workplace safety procedures, quality standards, and company requirements.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of relevant experience in semiconductor manufacturing, ideally 1–3 years.
• Experience as a Test Technician, Assembly Technician, NPI Technician, Production Technician, or in a similar role.
• Hands-on experience in assembly, testing, troubleshooting, or production support.
• Familiarity with work instructions, process documentation, and basic equipment and tooling.
• Exposure to NPI, engineering builds, or process improvement projects is an advantage.
• Good attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
