Job summary

Becton, Dickinson, and Company (BD) is seeking a Manufacturing Operator in Singapore to support daily production, maintenance and troubleshooting in a fast‑paced environment. You can opt for permanent day or permanent night shift and enjoy island-wide transport, shift allowances, overtime, AWS, and meals as part of the package.

Responsibilities include operating machines, performing preventive maintenance, inspecting parts, and ensuring product quality and process control.

Qualifications

• Secondary school or equivalent required (O level/SPM/NITEC/Diploma).
• Able to work in a manufacturing cleanroom or non-cleanroom environment.
• Able to perform permanent Day OR Night shift and stand long hours.

Responsibilities

• Operate on machine/process units as assigned.
• Troubleshoot machine/equipment to meet production targets and quality standards.
• Perform preventive maintenance while operating on the machine and record parameters.
• Sample inspection of parts to ensure specifications.
• Dispostion of non-conforming products per Quality plan when needed.
• Support changes and projects in production area with EHS and quality compliance.
• Update MES satellite data accurately (lot numbers, output, waste, downtime).
• Handle material packing/unpacking and loading/unloading.
• Perform visual inspection using the scope.
