Job summary

Becton, Dickinson, and Company (BD) is seeking a Shift Leader for our Tuas Plant in Singapore. The role leads a night shift to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant production operations, driving performance and supporting the team while upholding safety and quality standards.

You will oversee toolbox talks, PPE compliance, and incident investigations, while coordinating with maintenance for start-up, changeover, and shutdown activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead toolbox talks, ensure PPE compliance, and stop unsafe work; escalate incidents and support investigations and corrective actions.
• Execute production plans to meet output, schedule, and service targets; allocate manpower and resources.
• Monitor output, downtime, and scrap; drive initiatives to understand root causes; ensure clear shift handovers.
• Enforce SOPs and inspection compliance to maintain product quality.
• Lead, coach, and support production associates; manage attendance and discipline.
• Coordinate with Maintenance and Technical teams for start-up, changeover, shutdown, and housekeeping.
