Job summary

Becton, Dickinson and Company (BD) is seeking operators for our Tuas, Singapore manufacturing facility. You will support daily operations, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and ensure quality by recording parameters and adhering to the production plan.

The role offers permanent day or night shifts with island-wide transport, shift allowances, overtime, and meals. Candidates must have the legal right to work in Singapore and be able to stand for long hours in a manufacturing

Qualifications

Able to operate machine/process units per production plan.
Able to stand for long hours in a manufacturing setting.
Must have the legal right to work in Singapore.

Responsibilities

Operate on machine/process units as assigned.
Troubleshoot machine/equipment to meet production targets and quality specs.
Perform preventive maintenance (Cleaning, Service, Replace).
Record machine/process parameters and take corrective actions to keep processes under control.
Conduct sampling inspection of parts per the Quality plan and disposition non-conforming items as needed.
Support Team Leader in changes and projects in production area.
Update MES satellite data: component lot numbers, shift output, waste, downtime.
Handle material handling including packing/unpacking and loading/unloading.
Perform visual inspection using the scope.
