Job summary

BD is hiring a Technical Specialist (Technical Associate) for the Tuas Plant in Singapore. The role is full-time and on-site, with a 12-hour night shift from 7pm to 7am and a 3/4/4/3 pattern.

The successful candidate will focus on machine maintenance, troubleshooting and quality investigations to ensure production targets are met. We seek Nitec, Higher Nitec or Diploma holders with 2–5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance.

Qualifications

• Nitec, Higher Nitec or Diploma holder with 2-5 years’ experience in machine troubleshooting and preventive maintenance in mechanical aspects.
• A good team player with ability to work cross culture.

Responsibilities

• Maintain machines to meet production output and quality targets.
• Perform Preventive Maintenance (Cleaning, Service, Replace).
• Troubleshoot machine and tools, address failures to meet targets, safety and quality standards.
• Changeover on the line by tool/die change and machine setup.
• Initiate and follow-up on machine enhancements and project tasks.
• Write Standard Work Instruction / Procedure for assigned operation.
• Implement Corrective and Preventive Actions.
• Assist Engineers or SMEs for CI activities.
