Job summary

Alcon is seeking a Technician II, Production Technical Operations (LS1) to operate automated manufacturing and packaging equipment to produce, package, and sterilize contact lenses in accordance with GMP, GDP and data integrity guidelines.

You will perform IPC checks, simple machine setups, coordinate sterilization within a 12-hour window, uphold 5S on the floor, and contribute to Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced cleanroom environment.

Qualifications

• NITEC or equivalent in engineering disciplines.
• Minimum 2 years manufacturing experience, preferably in GMP/GDP environments.
• Familiarity with GMP, GDP and data integrity practices.
• Experience in cleanroom environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated manufacturing and packaging equipment for contact lenses to meet quality and regulatory standards.
• Perform IPC checks and ensure product quality throughout the process.
• Coordinate sterilization within a 12-hour window to maintain product integrity.
• Maintain 5S housekeeping on the production floor for a clean and efficient workspace.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily production targets and improve equipment performance.
• Participate in Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes.
