Job summary

Sunningdale Tech Ltd in Singapore is seeking a maintenance-focused technician to oversee daily production line operations, ensure productivity, quality yield and machine utilization, and carry out preventive maintenance. You will support engineers, maintain records, and promote safety and housekeeping in the assembly area.

Candidates should have a NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, be willing to work in a cleanroom and wear a jumpsuit.

Qualifications

• NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Willing to work in cleanroom environment and wear jumpsuit.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of production requirements such as line productivity, efficiency quality yield and machine utilization.
• Maintain process control and carry out routine check verification and repair work.
• Carry out periodic and preventive maintenance programs on hardware and system software.
• Maintain records of maintenance programs including plant equipment such as air compressor and vacuum pump.
• Assist Engineer in maintaining list of spare parts to ensure minimum disruption to production.
• Ensure production operation meets the company’s quality policy and customer requirements.
• Assist Process Engineer in executing continuous improvement plan to reduce costs.
• Assist Production Supervisor to prevent product non-conformity and implement solutions.
• Raise safety awareness in assembly area.
• Promote good housekeeping in assembly area.
• Follow EHS policies and cooperate with management.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operation of respective production requirements such as line productivity, efficiency quality yield and machine utilization
• Maintain process control and carry out routine check verification and repair work
• Carry out periodic and preventive maintenance programs on both hardware and system software
• Maintain records of maintenance programs including plant equipment such as air compressor vacuum pump transformer and etc
• Assist Engineer in maintaining list of spare parts through timely reviewing to ensure minimum disruption to the production operation
• Ensure production operation meets the company’s quality policy and objectives and comply with customer requirements
• Assist Process Engineer in executing continuous improvement plan to attain cost reduction program for customer and to meet company’s goals
• Assist Production Supervisor in initiating action to prevent occurrence of product non-conformity
  Assist and execute the implementation of product non-conformity solution
• Raise safety awareness in assembly area
• Promote and cultivate good housekeeping behaviors in assembly area
• Take reasonable care of workplace health and safety; abide by all EHS policies and procedures; cooperate with Management and colleagues in EHS initiatives

Requirements:

• NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Willing to work in cleanroom environment and wear jumpsuit
