Job summary

Allegis Group Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a Production/Application Support specialist to join a high-performing AI Platform team. You will provide L2/L3 production support, troubleshoot issues, and work closely with Site Reliability Engineers to ensure platform stability and reliable AI-powered services.

Ideal candidates enjoy investigating defects, debugging Python code, and analyzing logs and traces in cloud-native environments.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of production or application support experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and defect investigation skills.
• Experience performing structured Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Hands-on experience with Python and/or Bash scripting.
• Experience analyzing logs and traces with enterprise monitoring tools.
• Ability to debug code from stack traces and logs.
• Experience supporting production apps used by real users.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and own issues through resolution.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 production and application support for AI Platform services.

• Perform RCA and document findings, recommendations, and preventive actions.
• Analyze logs, traces and monitoring data (Datadog, Splunk, ELK, CloudWatch).

• Develop automation using Python or Bash to improve efficiency.

Overview

We're hiring a Production/Application Support to join a high-performing AI Platform team responsible for supporting critical applications, services and runtime platforms that enable AI adoption across the organisation.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting production issues, investigating defects, and solving real-world operational challenges in a modern cloud-native environment.

You'll play a key role in maintaining platform stability, supporting AI-powered services, and working closely with Site Reliability Engineers to ensure issues are resolved efficiently and effectively. Based on the client requirement for the AI Platform programme, the successful candidate is expected to take a solve-first approach, debug issues independently where possible, and provide meaningful investigation findings before escalation.

What You'll Do

• Provide L2/L3 production and application support for AI Platform services and applications.
• Investigate and troubleshoot production incidents impacting business users and platform consumers.
• Perform root cause analysis and document findings, recommendations and preventative actions.
• Analyse logs, traces and monitoring data using tools such as Datadog, Splunk, ELK or CloudWatch.
• Debug application issues and defects, including reading and investigating Python code where required.
• Support Kubernetes-based applications through log analysis, pod investigation and runtime diagnostics.
• Develop simple automation s and tooling using Python or Bash to improve operational efficiency.
• Support production deployments, release validation and change management activities.
• Escalate issues to SRE and engineering teams with clear findings, evidence and diagnostic information.

Must-Have Skills

• 2-5 years of experience in Production Support, Application Support, L2/L3 Support or Technical Operations environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and defect investigation skills.
• Experience performing structured Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Hands-on experience with Python and/or Bash ing.
• Experience analysing application logs and traces using enterprise monitoring tools.
• Ability to debug code and identify issues from stack traces, logs and user-reported problems.
• Experience supporting production applications used by real users in business-critical environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of issues through resolution.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• AWS cloud exposure.
• Kubernetes troubleshooting experience.
• Datadog dashboard creation and monitoring configuration experience.
• Experience supporting AI, LLM or GenAI-enabled products.
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.
