Job summary

ADVANTEST (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. seeks a post-sales support engineer for Advantest ATE. You will enable production ramp-up, drive yield improvements, address production issues, and integrate ATE into customers’ production environments.

The role requires a degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering with 4–6 years in semiconductor manufacturing, strong knowledge of digital/mixed signal testing, and proficiency in C++, Java, and scripting. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering with 4–6 years in semiconductor manufacturing and test operations.
• Good knowledge of digital/mixed signal test methodologies.
• Proficiency in C++, Java and scripting; knowledge of Advantest V93000 software is a plus.
• Familiarity with factory automation and production solutions is an advantage.
• Some project management and customer-facing support experience preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-sales service support for Advantest ATE.
• Assist customers in resolving production correlation/low yield and program issues.
• Ensure timely production ramp-up and resolution of production issues.
• Support ATE integration into customers' production environments.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing post-sales support services to customers, which includes enabling production ramp-up, yield improvement, production issues resolution and production solution implementation. As a member of the customer-facing team, the candidate will work closely with Account Managers, Service Sales and the System Application teams to deliver account priorities and ensure customer satisfaction.

Job responsibilities

• Provide post-sales service support for Advantest Automated Test Equipment (ATE).


• Support customers in resolving production correlation/low yield and program related issues.


• Ensure timely production ramp-up and manage the resolution of production issues.


• Support ATE integration into customer's production environment.


• Provide technical feedback to the factory to drive product improvements.


• Identify opportunities for production solution business in collaboration with Service Sales team.


• Ensure service contract deliverables are met.

Requirements

• Minimum Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering with 4 to 6 years of working experience in the semiconductor manufacturing and test operations.


• Good knowledge of digital/mixed signal test methodologies.


• Proficient in C++, Java and script programming. Knowledge of \"Advantest V93000 software\" and debugging tools will be an added advantage.


• Knowledge in factory automation and production solutions will be an added advantage.


• Some experience in project management and customer-facing support management preferred.


• Strong problem solver with good technical capabilities and good communication skills, self-motivated, customer focused and result oriented.


• Occasional travel required, sometimes on short notice.
