Job summary

VySystems seeks a Product Engineer for its Singapore operations to drive semiconductor product engineering across digital, mixed-signal, and RF products. You will debug test flows, improve yield, and collaborate with foundries and test subcontractors to ensure quality and production ramp-up.

The role requires 2–4 years of relevant experience, a degree in electronics/EE, and strong analytical, communication, and reporting skills. On-site in Singapore with cross-functional teamwork.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of digital, mixed-signal, and RF testing concepts.
• Experience in debugging, yield analysis, and data mining.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for semiconductor products from development through production release.
• Debug and support test flows across digital, mixed-signal, and RF domains.
• Collaborate with Test Engineering and Production teams to improve yield and test efficiency.
• Analyze test data and generate test limits, correlation analyses, and yield reports.
• Identify and resolve production and testing issues with foundries and subcontractors.
• Support yield improvement, test time reduction, and retest rate optimization during ramp-up.
• Prepare technical status reports and communicate product performance to management.

Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Product Engineer to join our client's team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have experience in semiconductor product engineering, IC testing, product debugging, and yield improvement across digital, mixed-signal, and RF products.

You will work closely with Test Engineering, Production Support, foundries, and test subcontractors to ensure product quality, reliability, and efficient production ramp-up.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for semiconductor products from development through production release.
• Debug and support product test flows across digital, mixed-signal, and RF domains.
• Collaborate with Test Engineering and Production teams to improve product yield, reliability, and test efficiency.
• Analyze test data and generate test limits, correlation analyses, and yield summary reports.
• Identify and resolve production and testing issues in collaboration with foundries and test subcontractors.
• Support yield improvement, test time reduction, and retest rate optimization during production ramp-up.
• Prepare technical status reports and communicate product performance to management and stakeholders.
• Support test data analysis and reporting automation where applicable.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in semiconductor product engineering, product test engineering, or IC testing.
• Strong understanding of digital, mixed-signal, and RF semiconductor testing concepts.
• Experience in product debugging, yield analysis, statistical analysis, and data mining.
• Familiarity with tools such as JMP, CEDA, Datapower, or Optimal+ is an advantage.
• Hands-on experience with Advantest 93K ATE is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Perl, Java, or VBA and test automation is desirable.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
