Databricks AsiaPac Unified Analytics PTE. LTD. is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to lead production-grade data and AI solutions for customers.

You will own end-to-end architecture, drive design decisions, and implement systems spanning data engineering, AI, and application development. The role requires strong engineering expertise, customer empathy, and ability to deliver with measurable outcomes. Travel to client sites is expected, with cross-functional collaboration across engineering,

Qualifications

4+ years in data engineering, data platforms, or software engineering.
Coding in Python, Scala, or JavaScript/TypeScript; modern frameworks.

Responsibilities

Lead production-grade solution delivery across data ingestion, ML/AI model integration, and reference architectures.
Guide transformational big data projects end-to-end with design, build and deployment.
Embed with customer teams to ensure architecture aligns with needs and best practices.
Own architecture decisions to ensure secure, scalable solutions for customers and Databricks.
Collaborate with engineering, project managers, architects and customer teams to deliver engagements.
Provide feedback to product/support to improve deployment and integration.
Travel to customers ~20% of the time.
