Job summary

The GMP Group is seeking a Production Planner in Singapore to ensure you meet customer delivery deadlines by reviewing capacity and coordinating with production and project teams. You will monitor execution, adjust schedules, and prepare contingency plans to handle delays.

You will also ensure material readiness one week before production, work with expeditors, and maintain the master planning list plus weekly GRN reports to align with customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in supply chain management, manufacturing, or related field.
• Experience in production planning or scheduling.
• Able to coordinate with production and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Review production capacity and confirm delivery deadlines for new orders and loading schedules.
• Coordinate with Production and Project teams to monitor execution and adjust schedules.
• Review material readiness at least one week before production and work with expeditors.
• Develop contingency plans for delays and inform Project teams of schedule changes with reasons.
• Maintain the master planning list and generate weekly GRN reports.

Job description

• Review production capacity and confirm whether customer delivery deadlines can be met for new orders and loading schedules.

• Coordinate with Production and Project teams to monitor execution, adjust schedules for pull-ins or push-outs, and update production plans accordingly.

• Review material readiness at least one week before production starts and work with expeditors to ensure output meets planned schedules.

• Develop contingency plans for delays and proactively inform Project teams of potential schedule changes with supporting reasons.

• Maintain the master planning list to centralise production information and generate weekly Goods Received Note (GRN) reports based on customer requirements.

Requirement:

• Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, with relevant experience in production planning or scheduling.
