Job summary

Hai Sia Seafood Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking motivated workers to join the fish processing team. You will weigh, plate and pack fish, prawns and squid to the correct weight and appearance, and seal products using standard machines.

No experience required as training is provided; there is a focus on accuracy, teamwork and keeping the work area clean and safe in a cold environment around 13°C. Basic English and/or Chinese label reading helps.

Qualifications

• Willing to learn.
• No experience is required, as training is provided.
• Careful and accurate with weighing and labeling.
• Able to read basic English and/or Chinese labels.

Responsibilities

• Weigh, plate and pack fish, prawns and squid to the right weight, layout and appearance.
• Pack and seal products using machines (skin-pack, vacuum and lid sealing machines).
• Print and attach labels with the correct delivery date and quantity.
• Check the products, seals and labels before handing over to the next station.
• Keep waste low and your work area clean and safe.
