Job summary

Premier Farnell is seeking a detail-oriented assembler to prepare and assemble electronic components per customer build instructions. You will unpack, label, repack, document actions and follow ISO procedures in a structured manufacturing environment.

The role requires basic education, typically a High School Diploma or equivalent, and a minimum of two years of related experience. Expect standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds, with a 5-day work week at our Changi South location.

Responsibilities

• Assembles and installs electronic components per build instructions.
• Unpacks, performs serial number capture, labeling, repackaging and other prep duties.
• Performs simple assembly of sub-assemblies as required.
• Follows detailed build instructions, best practices and ISO procedures.
• Documents actions by completing production electronic stamp offs.
• Identifies and participates in process improvements and KPI tracking.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Unpacks (post inbound de-trash), performs serial number capture, labeling, repack and other manufacturing preparation and finishing duties as required.

• Performs simple assembly of various sub-assemblies.

• Follows detailed build instructions, best practices and ISO procedures.

• Documents actions by completing production electronic stamp offs.

• Identifies, investigates, and participates in opportunities to improve processes and procedures, to include various key performance metrics.

• Updates and maintains electronic and hard copy records and/or files as required.

• Other duties as assigned.
