Job summary

AVNET ASIA PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a tester to validate modules, sub-assemblies and assemblies using pre-set manual, semi-automated and automated test stations.

You will train operators and new hires, provide daily technical support, calibrate and maintain equipment, set up test fixtures, and assist with urgent production testing as needed.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a minimum of five years of related experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience testing electronic modules and assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Provide new product training for operators and QC inspectors
• Provide product training for new hires
• Provide daily technical support including troubleshooting, repairing, and resolving technical/quality issues with equipment or products
• Conduct internal/external equipment calibration & maintenance on a regular basis
• Set up test fixtures and production equipment
• Assemble and test computing products at production line if there is an urgent need
