Job summary

Smartt in Singapore is looking for an Assembly Operator to perform assigned assembly tasks in the production area. The role requires adherence to operational guidelines and quality standards, with responsibilities including maintaining safety regulations and participating in continuous improvement initiatives. Candidates should have at least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment, must be able to read basic English, and be willing to learn. On-the-job training will be provided.

Job Summary

The Assembly Operatoris responsible forperforming assigned tasks within the assembly area in accordance with operational requirements, work instructions, and OMS (Operation Management System) guidelines.

Responsibilities

1. Perform assembly tasks as assigned in the production/assembly area
2. Follow and execute work instructions, OMS procedures, and supervisor directions accurately
3. Ensure all completed work meets required quality standards, with no defects identified during internal inspection or customer audits
4. Complete assigned tasks within the stipulated cycle time and production schedule
5. Identify, report, and escape any abnormalities, issues, or non-conformities encountered during assembly activities
6. Maintain strict compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and workplace procedures at all times
7. Support housekeeping, 5S practices, and maintain a clean and safe working environment
8. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives when required
9. Perform any ad-hoc duties or tasks assigned by Supervisor or Management

Job Requirement

1. Minimum GCE N-Level / Secondary education or equivalent
2. At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
3. Ability to work effectively with different functional teams
4. Able to read and understand basic English instructions and work documents
5. Willing to learn new skills and adapt to changes in work assignments or processes

7. Willing to work in the East region (Changi North Crescent, Singapore)
