Job summary

SMARTT PRECISION MFG PTE. LTD. seeks a production assembler to perform assembly, installation, and testing of semiconductor hardware and sub-assemblies according to SOPs and engineering drawings. You will operate hand tools and testing equipment, conduct inspections, and document results in MES systems.

The role requires reading English technical documents, strong attention to quality, teamwork, and willingness to work overtime or shifts in the East region (Changi North Crescent).

Qualifications

• N-Level, O-Level, NITEC, Higher NITEC, or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing, semiconductor, electronics, mechanical assembly, or testing.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical assembly, electrical/electronic components, hand tools, and testing equipment.
• Able to read and understand basic work instructions, drawings, and safety requirements in English.
• Good attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality.
• Responsible, disciplined, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Willing to learn and adapt to new processes and equipment.
• Willing to work overtime and/or shift work when required.
• Willing to work in East region, Changi North Cresent.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly, installation, and testing of semiconductor hardware, components, and sub-assemblies according to work instructions and SOPs.
• Operate mechanical hand tools, testing equipment, assembly fixtures, and related equipment safely and correctly.
• Perform mechanical assembly, component fitting, wiring, tubing, and basic hardware installation.
• Conduct functional, visual, and dimensional inspections to ensure products meet specifications and quality requirements.
• Follow approved work instructions, engineering drawings, BOMs, and process requirements.
• Record assembly and testing results accurately in production records and/or MES systems.
• Identify and report abnormalities, defects, equipment issues, and testing failures.
• Support troubleshooting and corrective actions for assembly and testing issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S, ESD, safety, and quality requirements.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities and perform other production-related duties as assigned.
